The Centro Storico is the triangle between the Tiber, Via del Corso and Largo Argentina: the Pantheon with its open oculus, Bernini's fountains on Piazza Navona, the morning market on Campo de' Fiori until two in the afternoon and the evening bars on the same square, the antique dealers of Via dei Coronari and Renaissance Via Giulia. It has the most tourists and the most "in a palazzo" addresses — and so its own delivery rules. The whole centre is a limited-traffic zone (ZTL): the courier's car stops at the boundary and the last few hundred metres of cobblestones are on foot, which is built into the timing.
Hotels by the Pantheon and Navona
We can arrange delivery to guests of hotels such as the Hotel Raphael behind Piazza Navona, the Grand Hotel de la Minerve by the Pantheon, Palazzo Navona Hotel, Hotel Campo de' Fiori and Hotel Indigo St. George on Via Giulia. The hotel name and the guest's name as on the booking are enough: the concierge accepts the flowers, and whether they go to the room for check-in is the hotel's decision — we check in advance. We have no hotel partnerships; every delivery is agreed individually. Large arrangements for a suite — a day ahead.
Palazzo Apartments
Half the addresses in the centre are flats in old palazzi: a heavy street door (portone), an intercom with a dozen surnames, an inner courtyard and a staircase without a lift. We need the street number (civico), staircase (scala), floor (piano), flat number (interno) and the surname on the intercom (citofono) — for rental apartments it usually differs from the guest's name. The courier buzzes and hands over in person; if the recipient is out, we call you and propose a new window. We never leave flowers at the palazzo door. To restaurants by Navona and on Campo de' Fiori — to the maître d' for the booking time, after checking they accept flowers.
